First, the classification of water chillers
First of all, we have to distinguish the type of chiller:General chiller is divided into water-cooled and air-cooled two kinds.

Water-cooled chillers, are divided into open chillers, sealed (some are called box chillers) and screw chillers. Third, the chiller common failure:
1, cooling water temperature is high, poor condensing effect:
Chiller requirements of the cooling water rated working conditions in the 30 ~ 35 ℃, high water temperature, poor heat dissipation, will inevitably lead to high condensing pressure, this phenomenon often occurs in the hot season. Causes of high water temperature may be: cooling tower failure, such as fan not open or even reversed, water distributor does not turn, manifested in high cooling water temperature, and rapid increase; high outside air temperature, short waterway, the amount of water that can be recycled is small, the cooling water temperature in this case is generally maintained at a high level, you can take to increase the storage tank approach to be resolved.
2, the cooling water flow is insufficient to reach the rated water flow:
The main performance is the unit in and out of the water pressure difference becomes small (compared with the system into operation at the beginning of the pressure difference), the temperature difference becomes large. Caused by insufficient water flow is due to a lack of water or air in the system, the solution is to install exhaust valves in the pipeline high exhaust; pipeline filter clogging or selection of too fine, water permeability is limited, should be used to select the appropriate filters and regular cleaning of the filter mesh; pump selection of smaller, and the system is not matching.
3, condenser scaling or clogging:
Condensate generally use tap water, above 30 ℃ is easy to scale, and because the cooling tower is open, directly exposed to the air, dust and foreign matter can easily enter the cooling water system, resulting in dirty condenser blockage, heat transfer area is small, low efficiency, but also affects the water flow. Its performance is the unit in and out of the water pressure difference, temperature difference becomes large, with the hand touch the condenser up and down the temperature is very high, the condenser out of liquid copper tube hot. The unit should be regularly backwashed, chemical cleaning and descaling if necessary.
4, refrigerant charging too much:
This situation generally occurs after maintenance, manifested as suction and discharge pressure, balance pressure are high, the compressor running current is also high. Should be in the rated condition according to the suction and discharge pressure and balance pressure and running current bleed, until normal.
5, the refrigerant mixed with air, nitrogen and other non-condensable gases:
This situation generally occurs after maintenance, vacuuming is not complete. Can only be discharged, re-vacuuming, re-charging refrigerant.
6, false alarms caused by electrical faults:
As a result of high-voltage protection relay moisture, poor contact or damage, the unit electronic board moisture or damage, communication failures caused by false alarms. This false fault, often electronic board on the high-pressure fault indicator light does not light or light, high-pressure protection relay manual reset is invalid, measured compressor operating current is normal, suction and discharge pressure is normal.
7, evaporative pressure is too low.
May be due to insufficient refrigerant caused by water-cooled chiller evaporative pressure is too low. Common causes: insufficient cold water; cold load less; throttle orifice failure (only low evaporative pressure); evaporator heat transfer tube due to scale and other contamination and deterioration of heat transfer (only evaporative pressure is too low); insufficient refrigerant (only evaporative pressure is too low).
8, oil pressure difference is too low:
Compressor oil pressure is too low compressor will stop running. Common causes are: oil filter clogging; too much refrigerant mixed in the lubricating oil.
9, oil temperature is too high:
Refrigeration compressor oil temperature is too high for long-term operation will reduce the quality of refrigeration oil or even carbonized refrigeration oil. Common causes: oil cooler cooling capacity is reduced; because the refrigerant filter screen is clogged and the oil cooler cooling with insufficient supply of refrigerant.
10, the main motor overload:

Power supply phase voltage imbalance; power line voltage drop;
