A condenser and an evaporator are two important components in a refrigeration system.


A condenser is responsible for releasing heat from the refrigerant gas to the surrounding air, causing the gas to condense into a liquid. This process increases the pressure of the refrigerant and prepares it to be sent to the evaporator.

On the other hand, an evaporator is responsible for absorbing heat from the surrounding air or a substance (such as food in a refrigerator) and allowing the refrigerant to evaporate into a gas. This process cools the surrounding area or substance.

In summary, a condenser releases heat and turns the refrigerant gas into a liquid, while an evaporator absorbs heat and turns the liquid refrigerant into a gas. Both components play a crucial role in the refrigeration cycle to maintain a cool temperature.
